DELUXE WEDDING CEREMONY
FEE $425.00 |
For couples seeking a beautiful, memorable wedding experience at an affordable price, my Deluxe Wedding Ceremony is for you. Specially designed and choreographed to be the best possible visual experience for the wedding party and guests, this full-service wedding may incorporate readings and rituals of importance to you, and involve family and friends in different ways. A rehearsal is held at the venue before the wedding day, so that the wedding party and others involved know exactly what will happen and how everything will unfold on the day of the wedding. To this end, the Deluxe Wedding Ceremony provides a fully planned and choreographed ceremony, with particular attention given to the bridal processional, signing and recessional, and this will make your wedding experience something to remember for all the right reasons.
This type of ceremony is recommended if you and your partner have planned an elaborate ceremony with various readings/rituals, and or if you have a large Wedding Party (more than two bridesmaids and two groomsmen). Where elaborate arrangements are planned, the celebrant must develop a ceremony that incorporates the staging and managing of those things. Where a number of people are involved in the Wedding Party, the movement and placement of people in the ceremony is critical, and a rehearsal at the venue is absolutely essential to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day of the wedding.
As part of my service, two meetings are held with my couples, the second usually combined with a rehearsal on-site at the wedding venue, where possible. Depending on the complexity of the ceremony, what is scheduled to take place within it, and the size of the wedding party, a rehearsal may take between 30 and 90 minutes to complete. The idea is not to go through the ceremony word by word (otherwise I am marrying you right then and there!), but rather to enable the participants to practice their entry, exit and signing processions, and to gain an understanding of what to do, where to go and stand, and what to expect.

QUICK 'N EASY, NO-FUSS REGISTRY-ALTERNATIVE WEDDING CEREMONY
FEE $350.00 |
It's no lie - the cheapest place in Brisbane to get married is the State Government's Registry Office in George Street.
The Registry Office currently charges $335 for a Saturday wedding held no later than 4.00 pm. Many couples who are after a cheap, "no-fuss" wedding choose to marry at the Registry Office but what they may not realise is that marrying at the Registry Office is not as cheap or "fuss-free" as they may think, and it severely limits their options for their ceremony.
-
Couples must go into the Brisbane CBD to the Registry to complete paperwork and book their ceremony, then come back at the appointed time to be married
-
You have limited choice about the timing of your ceremony, and if you leave it too late, you have to be "slotted in" to the Registry's available timeslots on your chosen day, which may not really suit you and effect the timing of your reception celebrations (i.e. you marry at 10am but your reception is booked for 5pm)
-
Parking for the couple and their guests in the inner city can be expensive, especially on weekends or if they are forced to use private parking stations if on-street parking is unavailable. The Registry does offer a parking package that enables the bride and groom to park in a nominated spot close to the Registry - but it is very expensive. All other guests must fend for themselves, parking-wise, in the CBD
-
Your ceremony is the 254-word State-authorised ceremony that consists of the authorised officer's declaration of authority to perform the ceremony, the exchange of legal marriage vows between bride and groom, exchange of rings, the declaration, kiss etc. It's all over in a flash, including the signing of papers, and you have no opportunity to personalise your ceremony
-
Your ceremony does not have a grand processional of the bride or couple's recessional at the end, or any of the other things found in civil weddings (readings, rituals and so on)
If your preferred wedding experience is a short, sweet, "no fuss" ceremony of fifteen minutes or less, without readings or rituals and delivered in your chosen location, then my no-fuss, Registry-Alternative Wedding Ceremony may be of interest.
Designed as a superior alternative to marrying in the Registry Office, and written especially for you around the things that are important to you, my Registry-Alternative Wedding Ceremonies provide a lovely, memorable wedding experience in the location of your choice, with a shorter, less involved ceremony (hence no-fuss) for a very reasonable price that is only a few dollars more than marrying at the Registry Office.
Couples please note:
· Registry Office weddings are not pre-rehearsed and have no processional of the bride or recessional of the couple. In my Registry-Alternative ceremonies, I do enable couples to have the bride's processional and the couple's recessional. See notes below about rehearsals.
· These ceremonies are designed to be simple and easy to manage. Couples choosing this level of service without rehearsal must accept that things may not go to plan on the day if they incorporate elaborate elements or their wedding party is not fully conversant with what is to happen at the ceremony.
· No pre-wedding rehearsal is provided with these ceremonies, and only one meeting is held with couples prior to the wedding to complete paperwork and discuss the wedding. All other liaison before the wedding is via phone and email.

"JUST US" ELOPEMENT WEDDING CEREMONY
FEE $325.00 |
The town of Gretna Green on the Scottish-English border is famous for being the place where Britons ran away to in order to get around the strict British marriage laws. The act of eloping to marry in private has never been restricted to Gretna Green, as it is a practice that has been happening in many countries since time immemorial, but running off to get hitched has come to reflect the romanticism and convenience of marrying without fuss, expense, and without many people present.
People do still elope today, and for many different reasons. If eloping and marrying in the presence of two witnesses is the kind of wedding experience you and your partner desire, I can help you to achieve this dream. You can have a beautiful wedding experience of 15 minutes or so in the location of your choice with words that mean something to you, and with vows that reflect the commitment you wish to make to each other. All you need to do is provide two witnesses aged over 18 years to ensure your wedding is legal according to Australian law.
Couples please note:
· No pre-wedding rehearsal is provided with Intimate Elopement Wedding Ceremonies, and only one meeting is held with couples prior to the wedding to complete paperwork and discuss the wedding. All other contact prior to the wedding is via phone and email.
· An elopement is, by nature, a ceremony in the presence of two witnesses. If you wish to have more than two witnesses present (under-age children excluded), the fee will be increased to that of the Registry-Alternative Wedding Ceremony.
