I am experienced and qualified to provide training and tutoring in the areas of writing for children and celebrant information and development. Examples of the types of training I provide include:

* Developing Celebrant Resources

Private mentoring is also offered to individuals (writers or celebrants) who feel they could benefit from this support. As a mentor, I will visit you at your home for an hour each week for a minimum of six months, or if you are based some distance away, I will call you or conduct an online-conference via webcam. As your mentor, I will keep you on track, on task, and working towards building your writing or celebrancy business, knowledge and skills.

I am also available to assist celebrants awaiting registration, or currently studying, with "tandem weddings". This is where the unregistered celebrant conducts the bulk of the ceremony, with myself as the registered celebrant conducting the legal elements of the ceremony. This is a great way for students and unregistered (waiting list) celebrants to gain some experience while they await appointment.

Since June 2010, I have been marking the Writing Children's Stories Course for TAFE Queensland's Adult & Community Education (ACE) section. This course is aimed at writers who are just beginning to write for children. I provide very detailed, constructive feedback to students aimed to help them move towards publication.
