What would you do if you found a dinosaur egg? Would you keep it, give it to a museum, or sell it to the highest bidder? This is the dilemma facing Nathan and Ashley, who find a dinosaur egg on the beach one day. When the egg's existence becomes known and everyone seems to want it, Nathan and Ashley engage in a game of hide and seek, not knowing who they can trust. When the chips are down, help comes from a most unexpected source.

This story, aimed at 10-12 year old readers, was the very first story for children that I ever wrote. I was pregnant with my first child when this story came to life so it is as much "my baby" as my own daughter. It also has the distinction of being the first of my works ever to be accepted for publication in 2003 so will always have a special place in my heart, as will the publisher, Writers-Exchange (now Readers Eden) because the existence of this book has opened so many other doors for me as a writer. Published in 2005, this book is in e-book format and can be downloaded to computers as a PDF file.
